Bed Rest...(by Pam)

Well we are now 10 weeks into this pregnancy, and we have hit a bit of a speed bump.
So far I've been more sick this time around then I have been in the past, but no major complaints. Then this past Wednesday morning, I was spotting a bit. (small bit)
Arg! Of course my heart sank, because my last two pregnancies I lost at 10 and 11 weeks.

We (we being Dan in this case as I was in no mood to talk on the phone) called and talked to the doctor.  They are going to do an Ultrasound this Thursday the 5th in Payson. If all goes well I will be in my 11th week, and they can get a better look at things.

In the mean time, I'm pretty much supposed to stay laying down until then.
So far, I haven't encountered anything else strange, so now, it's a waiting game.
I don't want to let myself get too stressed out until I know more.

Poor Dan is working 10 hour shifts commuting two hours, then coming home to take care of the house, while I lay around. But he's is amazing, very positive, and hasn't uttered a single complaint. At least he was off today until Monday, so that helps a ton!
The ward is great as well, and has taken all my Primary tasks, and offered to bring food, and help in anyway they can.

Its hard to lay down, when I'm feeling mostly fine, but hopefully it will be short lived. I suppose I'm as prepared as I can be for possible bad news, but am hoping and praying for good news.

Tell ya what, if this little one does make it here safely we are buying this Onesie for sure!!!!!!!

Oh Pam, I just read this and I immediately said a prayer for you. Playing the waiting game is probably the most frustrating thing ever! What a sweetheart Dan is. Stay in bed no matter what, like Jess said. Sounds like you are being taken care of...but remember we're just a phone call and a 40 minute drive away....don't hesitate to call day or night. We love you and are praying for everything to go well.

no wait I ment the so so so so sorry for posting these comments hope it did not mess it up.
I am so sorry. I know how hard bed rest can be. I was down for about 8 days with my last. But know this, those around you can't be blessed if you don't let them serve. So just sit back and enjoy the pampering and remember you are helping others recieve the blessings. I hope all goes well. I'll be thinking of you, and will keep you in our prayers. I would love to bring you dinner or run your errands for you--just let me know. Love ya, Cece

Calm is good. Just think happy thoughts and try not to hate sitting on that sofa all day. It is hard, but the Lord knows your needs and He will be there for you. We are so happy that you are pregnant and w are praying for you and that baby to be healthy.
