What's up with that?!? (by Pam)

Barack Obama is now our President Elect.
I didn't vote for him, but I sincerely hope he has a successful presidency.

We woke up to accumulations of snow Wednesday. (Sigh) Not tons, but enough to cover the grass for two days. I miss Summer already! Snow is pretty, and seasons are nice I suppose, but driving in it and shoveling it I could do without.  And just knowing that it will be cold for the next 5 months (at least) is a bit of a bugger.

One funny revelation the snow brought... We were getting out of the car after bringing Toby home from school; When he opened the car door he did this whole body shudder. I gave him a funny look and asked if he was okay. He said "no, I can't stand that noise!" "What noise?" I wondered. "That crunching noise that car just made when it drove by on the snow, I just can't stand it mom!" Kinda funny, it didn't bother him last year. I didn't make a big deal out of it and will be anxious to watch and see if it continues.

So ya know the "Reflections" contests in elementary schools every year. Well a lady in the ward that helps with Reflections called and said she heard that Dan is a "movie buff" and asked him to please judge all of the Film entries this year. (You should have seen the look on his face when I told him.) Dan being a "good sport" willingly agreed.  There were only 6 entries, and they were fun to watch and rate.  I found the whole thing amusing.

And one last word of caution for the day: If you are ever at the Spanish Fork library and you needs Dans attention... saying "Hey Sweetie......Josh... I mean... umm Dan...?"  Yeah, not his favorite thing. And he might slump his shoulders, sigh, and roll his eyes at you.
(Sorry hub.) But at least he's a "good sport" and won't hold it over your head.

(Not sure if any of that was "blog worthy" information, but ya know...I'm perfectly happy to be having just an average week.)

All of that was very blog worthy, I love hearing about that stuff. That is funny that Toby doesn't like the snow crunching sound. And that is kind of funny that you called Dan by the wrong husband name, that would be hard, just out of habit. Love hearing about all your stuff :)

Sounds like you are having a colder winter than us so far, we finally just got a skiff of snow the last two days, but it has been mostly in the 50's lately, not too bad for Duluth.
That's funny about Toby, it's hilarious what bugs kids sometimes.

Ya, we got dumped on with snow in our neck of the woods. Savana went in the backyard and made a snowman...CrAzY! Dan is a good sport to be a judge. What a good guy, and forgiving too. (-:
You know I don't like the sound of the car crunching snow or feet crunching snow now that I think about it...something Toby and I may have in common. LOL! And yeah Dan is a pretty good sport about most things...glad he forgave you...I've had that issue before...right after I broke up with Kris and got back together with Jason not only did I call him Kris but Brandon did as well...poor guy now he just makes fun of me for it :P So fret not I have made that same mistake not only once but a few times with poor Jason

I think we have ALL caught ourselves saying the "other" name many times, so it's good to know that you have too. But "DAN" is a great name to be able to say and I hope he knows how much we ALL adore him. What a great guy!
