Catching up...Christmas 2008 (by: Pam)

Christmas Eve was spent partying at Grandma and Grandpa Howards house. Complete with family, homemade Chimi's (YUM!) and Stained Glass cookies!

Grandma Howard made all her kids and grandkids a new quilt for Christmas. (That's almost 40 quilts folks! She's amazing) Oma also gave the kids new homemade blankets! Now Toby and Sadie have an awesome handmade blanket from all 3 of their grandmas. What an awesome labor of love! We are so spoiled!!

After Christmas Eve partying, and snuggling up in new quilts, they kids weren't moving too fast Christmas morning. We coaxed them out of bed around 8.
Even Santa coming took some time to sink in.

Love this picture of Sadie trying to wake up.

Despite trying to ensure it didn't happen, Santa spoiled us rotten this year.
Sadie got a beautiful wood Doll-house that is bigger then she is, Toby got a remote control Hummer. Dan gave me a HUGE family picture he has been working on, complete with homemade frame that looks incredible! Dan got a new Jig saw he had been wanting.

And as you have heard, we have been blessed to be expecting a new baby in August.

Christmas afternoon was spent with the Jensens where we were spoiled even more, it's a bit embarrassing really. That's a lot of love for one family to absorb. Christmas brunch was super yummy!
We did homemade Christmas gifts with the Jensens this year and it was a blast to see how talented everyone is and the amazing gifts that were made.

And the moment you have all been waiting for......

Yes! My Sadie got me a new bra, and a cucumber!!!!!!!
(Dan tells me that once at the store, Sadie decided that a cucumber would be a better surprise then a Zucchini. I love that girl!)

I forgot about those stained glass cookies! What fun memories...

Aren't those quilts awesome? That was a major accomplishment for your mom!! She is incredible. I like the photo of Sadie all wrapped up in hers, all that pink and red, cute!

How hilarious that Sadie really did get you the bra and...cucumber...that photo cracks me up.
I was hoping Sadie would come through on what she wanted to get you. That is awesome. Your family is just darling and your kids look just like you. Can't wait to see what this new little one will look like. Congrats again. I'm glad we can see each other everyday if wanted...you still inspire me!!!

What? You had to wake your kids up on Christmas morning? That is just messed up. That doll house totally reminds me of you Pam. Where did you find "old school" style scooters? Those remind me of the ones we used to have.

I must say that I love Sadie's gift the best!
