This morning was moving along just beautifully.
Sunday clothes had all been located and laid out Saturday night.
I was up, showered, dressed, and had Cinnamon Crumb cake in the oven all before 7:30 am.
Dan and Toby were both showered and getting dressed.
Classical music and baking Cinnamon filled the house.
Only step left was to wake the girls and get them ready for church.
This is when things all went south...
Upon opening their bedroom door I was accosted by a HORRID smell.
As I went for the window to let in some air, Sadie rolled over in bed and said, "Mom, I threw up during the night."
Sure enough, she was covered, her bed was covered, her floor next to her bed was covered in DRIED puke that she had slept in all night!
After a moment of stunned shock I did what came naturally, hollered for Dan.
He graciously started scrubbing and disinfecting while I worked on cleaning up Sadie. She said she threw up just after we tucked her in, but she was too tired and didn't feel good so she just went to sleep.
Really?! How does someone do that?!?
While finishing the very unpleasant task of cleaning out Sadie's hair I hear Toby hollering from the other bathroom.
Thinking he may be sick too I run in to see him standing there with a big ol' bloody Nose getting all over.
This is when I'm really tempted to jump back in bed.
We get everyone cleaned up and comfortable, decide Dan will stay home with the girls and Toby and I head to church.
I get the primary room set up and head in for Sacrament meeting, half way through I look down and notice I'm still wearing my crappy Flip Flops I had slipped into while running around this morning.
LOVELY!!!
Did I mention it's been my month for teaching Sharing Time, and this happened to be the week the entire Stake Primary Presidency was coming to watch.
*Sigh*
When it was all said and done, Sharing Time went very well.
After a 1 1/2 hour Presidency meeting, I took Toby home, hugged Andie, then crashed.
A big ol nap and an Iron pill later, I'm enjoying a nice relaxing Sunday night.

And don't worry, you aren't the only one who's worn your "crappy shoes" to church on accident...
