We are on the home stretch of this pregnancy, and are pretty excited and anxious to meet our little girl in the next two weeks.
Sadie had to be born "C-Section", so to get this baby here without a repeat "C-Section" there are some additional risks. People have successful "VBAC" deliveries all the time, and it would a much nicer recovery.
However because of the additional risks, laws now require that anyone attempting to deliver normally after a "C-section" be continuously attended by a physician able to switch to an emergency C-Section at a moments notice.
What this means for us....
If we decide to try to deliver without a "C-section" our doctors have to be a couple mins away the whole time. Bottom line... it will ideally need to be a Monday or Thursday. If they start my labor with drugs/medicine the risks go up, but they can break my water to try to control the on-set of labor a bit. If we decide to just schedule a "C-Section" our doctors operate on Tuesdays.
So-oo unless she decides she's ready to come sooner, it's looking like Monday the 24th, Tuesday the 25th, or Thursday the 27th. It's all far to complicated to me, and I'm hoping she just decides to come on her own.
