This past Thursday I attended my Grandma Jensen's funeral. Grandma Jensen was my last remaining grandparent. I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to know my grandparents (both Hintze and Jensen).What amazing people, truly selfless and loving, my grandparents were missionaries to the core.
I'm not going to ramble too much, other than to mention two of the greatest attributes of my grandparents, in my humble opinion.
Firstly, as I thought back on my memories of my Grandma Jensen this past week, I found it nearly impossible to recollect a single memory that didn't also involve my Grandpa Jensen. They were truly inseparable and in love through and through. They could often be seen walking hand in hand and were truly happy in each others presence.
And finally, my Grandma was an amazing woman, but I think the thing that sticks with me the most right at this moment is that every time you visited their house or called and spoke with her on the phone, she would always conclude the conversation with the same 4 words.
